Looks like this is the equation even if we lose all four of our remaining games. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Love it!! I guess the point is well made, even if it might not have been intended. If we are relying on the bulldogs and the Power losing games as the only way to make the finals, then it doesn't really matter whether we make it or not!! _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Bulldogs are GONSKI after being towelled up by the Brions today. Port are still in it thanks to Essendon imploding.
Either way it won't matter as we are playing finals and still have a real chance at top four. |

I'm hoping we can scrape into top 4. And we get players back for finals. Ala dogs 2016 and have things click in the finals. But just hope at this stage, not a prediction. |

Let’s hope the Lions fall off in the last 2 games, it’s our only hope of sneaking in the 4. We would have to win all 3. Still looking at an Elimination Final and possibly a semi at the Gabba if we get through. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Best case is to finish 4th and play Geelong at the 'G. Dont really want to travel to Perth again. I think the Lions are beatable, but would prefer not to have to go to the Gabba either.
If we finish 5th or 6th and get the Power or Crows at the 'G, thats also not a bad result. But we'd have to go the long way and still have to likely travel for the Semi or Prelim. But we should be able to at least get to the semis this way.
Sneaking into 4th and facing Geelong is the best we can hope for. They are beatable and winning that match has us hosting a Prelim, which would likely be against one of GWS, Lions or Richmond.
But to sneak into 4th we cannot lose a game. And we'd need Richmond or the Lions to drop a game or two. So it's going to be tough. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

You know your season is going to SHIT when you need to rely on Brisbane losing their last three games to take their well earned spot in the four... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

On current form, Brisbane will beat Geelong in round 22, so I don't think they're going anywhere. We're better off hoping for Richmond to lose to West Coast and GWS to lose to the Bulldogs or Hawthorn. But I'd just be happy if we keep winning at this point. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
