Missed this, but that's actually pretty good! Nice to see some rare political satire from the commercial networks (seems they only care about government overreach when it's happening in their backyard, but I'll take it). _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

She did that well! Hard to keep a straight face I’ll bet!
We did a tour of Dubai today, and there was a lady from Texas on the bus. We go see a flash mosque and she asked how many they have? And then wether they have any other kind of church! (Yes they do, apparently the are free choice religion!) I could see my hubby squirming everytimeshe opened her mouth, but I loved it, she asked all the questions I wanted to! The poor dude was squirming! He was talking about the latest ruler, who inherited the job when his old man passed, so I said “so....no elections?” He says no we are like a king thing you know! She asked about homeless people, nope, nada, none!
I gotta say the joint is absolutely spotless, so much glass, still a lot of construction going on, too concrete jungle for me. Well I just finished my cheesecake and coffee, offto the incredible gym to work it off, then I’ll hit the pool- if I can stand the 40 plus heat! Apparently it gets to 50, can’t even imagine it! Cheers, be great to get home tomorrow, I want my kids, my dogs and my own bed! And finals tickets! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

All the #Bigbigsound memes on Twitter. Everyone's going nuts over the GWS theme song and everyone seems to be loving it.
Except Tigers fans which makes it even better _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I went for a walk through the city the other day and picked up a book for $5 called "The ultimate book of heroic failures"
It's a collection of very short, some half a page long, stories about people who have utterly failed at things, heroically.
remember Eric the Eel? Eddie the Eagle?
There's some rippers in here, what just made me laugh was how Elvis Presley once entered an Elvis Impersonators contest at a Tennessee Steakhouse and came 3rd _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

It's a bit of light reading, celebrating failures. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
