Far out!
When they were lining up to take a one point lead... That would have won it for them.
We kicked it in and Cox takes a game saving mark (even tho he stuffed up the kick).
And finally the siren goes as the Lions were kicking it into their F50.
Bloody close one.
What a game of footy tho! _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Thanks for the score updates everyone. 7plus was not working on the iPad.
Hopefully will be able to see the game on replay. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Correct me if I’m wrong , but that was Bianco’s first game as as Pie?
Leading possession getter, not bad. And Wilson backed up last weeks game. Nice |

First game in black and white for Bianco and first game for points in 595 days !!
I watched him play at the Chargers alongside Rowell and Anderson. He’s a fine talent. He’s not big and he’s not a long kick but he’s good on both feet and doesn’t panic. I was very surprised when they picked Rantall before him. I see nothing that changes my mind after today. Wilson and Kelly both looked solid down back. Thought Ginnivin ( ? ) looked lively too.
They need to move on from Cox and Madgen. There’s nothing to be gained by playing them in the seniors unless we have injuries.
Once these kids can run out a game, there will be a bit to look forward to.
We just have to be patient. |

Who were our best? Anyone pushing for senior selection? _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

Our entire on ball brigade got a lot of it. MacRae, Bianco Sier, Rantall.
Still not enough from Cox or Madgen, while Kelly and Wilson were solid in defence. McInnes injured early, so that won’t help his cause.
I liked Ginnivins game today but permanent small forwards are hard to evaluate.
Wilson might not be far away but our defence is ok and Howe comes back soon. Sier may get a recall but he still fades at VFL level.
We will see Bianco at some point once he gets a few more miles under his belt. He looks the real deal to me. |
