We’re starting to hold our width and get some easy ball on the outside.
Blues 48 - Pies 25
Krueger off with a heavy shirt front. Really had stuffing knocked out of him.
At least Henry is getting busy again. Madgen marks in the goal square.
Blues 48 - Pies 31.
Pressure has been reversed this quarter and we’re now getting some ball out in space. |

We were better in the second quarter.
Just a shame we conceded on the HT siren. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Better second half, happy that Kreuger isn't hurt.
I've liked the look of Poulter that quarter, showed intent, getting up and down the field, working forward and back.
Begg reminds me of Jackson at Melbourne, needs a bit more strength and confidence but do mobile, McMahon shows potential too.
Gonna be interesting to see what happens at season end, lot of uncontracted players. Fly would have come in without a great deal of knowledge of the young blokes, he's now had a season to run a line through some names and tell GW what sort of players he wants in the draft. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Krueger now in the ruck for a spell. Pies with the first to Lane.
Then the Blues with a quick answer yet again
Blues 61 to Pies 38.
Some our senior players have used the ball poorly at times. Ruscoe, Bianco and Kelly have all had some poor moments early in the game.
Then Ben Crocker kicks his third to add 6 more points to the Blues lead. |

Blues 74 to Pies 46 at three quarter time. We just couldn’t make in roads and were beaten comfortably in most KPIs.
Carmichael got busy that quarter but he and MacRae have been outpointed by Dow and Setterfield.
Krueger looks spent after a spell in the ruck but it’s been a decent hit out for him first up. |

Horrible start to the last qtr with simple mistakes from Draper and Carmichael and the Blues add another goal |

That Carmichael pass to Brown just sums it all up. _________________ VOTE NO. Cancel the Cancel Culture. |

Getting a decent pantsing. I think it's fair to say our "one trick pony" game style applies here. We don't have the depth of skill required to play that way. How many goals have they scored from corridor turnovers? _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Henry with a late one from a Joe the goose.
And then Callum Brown goal on the run from a long Ruscoe handball.
Final scores
Blues 15 10 : 100 to Pies 10 8 : 68
Collingwood players who made the least mistakes - C Brown, MacRae, Begg Poulter |

Very underwhelming. I have serious reservations about some of these AFL listed players. I can forgive inexperience and a degree of skill errors but lack of intent I can’t. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

You’ve pretty well nailed it. We were playing catch up by quarter time and didn’t have the class or quality to run the ball from the backline through the middle. In that instance, you’re looking to change the angles and shift the opposition defence but it seemed like we continued to present up the middle. I thought there was a lot of kick chasing early and you see that sometimes when players want to get on the stat sheet and impress for the seniors rather than do the one percenters for their team mates. |
