Sideys big 300th, Mason Cox 100th, lots to celebrate. Glad these Norf prunes lost in such a heartbreaking way, they will be shot to bits on confidence. cant see Ratts doing much with em. Time for a massive win, say 96 points and get our % way past the Lons and Deeeees.! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Our Marvel record under Fly last year was 1 win, 2 losses so it's something to be mindful of.
We should be winning comfortably if all things are equal. North were competitive against Sydney and they tested us last year so I'm going to assume this will be a tougher game than some expect. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

The last of these 3.20/4.40 games on Sunday.
Big occasion for us to be complacent. The Roos won’t kick more than 7 goals. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Just tried to buy some tickets for this match - Ticketmaster says there are none available - does this sound right? |

My fear is that we will be complacent 😨 Good teams are never be complacent. That is very unprofessional. You don’t want to flirt with form. We should play our brand and perfect it, iron out any problem areas and win. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. This group is so tight, there isn’t a chance in hell they are going to allow Sideys and Cox milestones to result in a loss. It’s a bloody long season and there’s always a bit of self preservation starts to creep in once you know you’re going to play finals. They’ll win but I wouldn’t be overly critical if the overall performance was a bit underwhelming. There’s bigger fish to fry. |

I expect North to be more competitive than Carlton was – and they'll be particularly hungry to atone for throwing the game away against Sydney – but so long as the players don't turn up with a complacent attitude, we should prove too good for them. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

The last loss against the Dogs at Marvel, started our run last year. It wont end this years' run against North
Surprisngly, we have the 3rd best % winning record in the AFL at Docklands.

Me thinks this match time to debut some players same goes for the west coast game as well and rest some of our more experienced players |

I didn't see the game but North annoyingly seemingly found some much needed spirit against Sydney and you only have to see what West Coast did to us last year at Marvel to know the result of any game is at risk if you aren't mentally switched on.
I'm all for player management and the big picture if you put yourself in a position where you can afford that luxury but at this point in the season I don't think we should tempt fate and "manage" more than 2 players completely out of the side each round over the next 2 weeks.
While it's been a great start to the season and a top 8 finish should be expected given we're currently 4 games and percentage clear of 9th, it's top 4 (preferably top 2 to avoid the Gabba or Adelaide) that we're aiming for and a lot of water still has to go under that bridge. _________________ He's mad.
