Hot pies are much better than not so hot dogs đ We are hungry for success! _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy âUnceasing Wavesâ like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm âď¸ |

Umpires gifted the dogs a crucial free in the last quarter just after Freo had hit the front. The goal from the free kick put the dogs back in front.
Dogs ran away with it after that. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Yeah, you canât take anything for granted in modern footy, but with JDG back, Howe down back again, and that firm vs the Suns, we should be too strong for them. |

Crucial match between two talented line ups.
English, Bontempelli, Liberatore, Macrae, Naughton, Ugle-Hagen, Atkinson, Keath, Daniel, Dale, Richards are more than capable of taking it up to the Pies...
Just need to keep winning to keep Port and Brisbane at bay.
The loss by Melbourne won't have hurt our claims to a top four position. _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Dogs have always played well against us especially if they are able to win the contested ball in and around packs. They have a high marking forward line that will put pressure on our defence. From the last time we played them, where they showed this, our side has changed Our tough midfield duo of Adams and Mitchell were not there! And from memory we were Coxless! That alone will change the dynamics around contested ball. We are also a better synchronised group. Still a tough game where we have to bring our best to beat them. |

In: De Goey
Out: Harrison (sub)
Very hard to pick who becomes 23rd man. Maybe McCreery again, just because he plays that role so well. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." â Julian Assange |

Scott Selwood said only reason McCreery was a sub against Adelaide as he was still a bit rough post lingering illness that was around the Club.
He's starting 22.
With Harrison having a taste, reckon he might have had his introduction. That'll give him focus for his '24 pre-season.
Expect we'll see McInness in again, and if Bruzzy doesn't come up, maybe Ruscoe. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Tough match at the Docklands shithole, where we dont go all that well at times, the Dishlickers home ground. Doggies will have a dip, no doubt of that, but our overall class, and return of JDG, will see us home by around 16 points, I reckon. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

If McCreery isnât sub, the only other possibilities I can think of is WHE or Frampton. Surely wonât be Markov (given McRae said he just played his best game for the club).
In terms of ins, I doubt anyone but De Goey breaks into the side this week unless thereâs an injury. McInnesâ six goals might put him in the frame as an emergency, but I doubt he gets another chance in the senior lineup for a little while. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." â Julian Assange |
