Lachlan Keeffe is an emergency for GWS. |
Grundy just tore Gawn a new one in the Sydney v Melbourne game. Nothing new in that - Gawn's career W/L record against teams with Grundy in them is just abysmal. |

Tay Adams played 3 quarters for Syd in the VFL, returning from his knee injury.
Ollie Henry kicked 4 goals 1 for Geebung against the Hawks.
'Last year, in his first year at Geelong, he took out the best young player award after booting 41 goals – and at least one in 20 of his 22 games.
This season, he looks to be taking it up another notch. He’s able to find space, give an option to teammates, out-muscle opponents to take grabs and then kick well. '
(The Age)
Ollie on the lightning break:
“I guess it’s sort of the same as a pre-game routine. And, you know, everyone has a different routine. And, you know, when you have to stop and warm back up again, there are things that, you know, might help you perform better. So, I think if you’re going off, I was dancing to a song … We got the music going … and I couldn’t tell you the name of the song. We had some soccer chants going on. And I did the quiz and, and then just some, like treatment work.”
James Aish had 29 disposals (16 kicks, 13 handballs) and 6 marks for Freo against Ade.
For the oppo, Mark Keane had 26 disposals (19 kicks, 7 handballs) and... 11 marks. Wow... 11 marks! Not the most for the round, but still a lot...
Grundy has had a total of 11 marks for the whole of 2024. (No kidding. 11 marks total in four matches.) And he's being paid $1.1 million ($300,000 by the Pies) this year, according to the Hun. Sheesh, he's an atrocious mark. Has there ever been a regular AFL player over 2m tall who's a worse mark? Doubt it. |

I guess on the “winners are grinners” principle, we can’t lament losing Ollie Henry too much in part-exchange for Mitchell after 2023, but I think we’d have been a 2-3 goal better team with him now. Like Checkers, he is a just a natural AFL player. |

Agree. I always thought Henry was a bigger loss for us than most want to admit. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

And so far ahead of Ash Johnson it's not funny. It really isn't. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

In other news, Ginnivan is still getting his head ripped off and missing out on frees. Someone suggested on the broadcast that he needs to ditch the long sleeves so the umpires have a harder time recognising him _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

^After all the publicity this week, I expect them to recognise him to the extent of at least 3 goals from free kicks. Following Gather round, normal programming will resume and he won't get a free for the rest of the year. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

James Aish is in his absolute prime now. Played another high quality game against Carlton (which the umpires assisted in both keeping them in the match but also winning it) _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Taylor Adams played his first game for Sydney yesterday, and scored a goal before being subbed out late. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

2 second rounders he cost. And thrown away due to salary cap issues....

Couldn't we do with an Ollie Henry in our forward line right now! |

True story? Buckley blamed it all on Eddie's interference...
You know something beyond or contrary to that? |
