Ah Greg you fell into my trap you know who to spell Billy Bragg correctly! You attempted to be a Howard Loving citizen, when you were a pinko all along. As soon as Edgar gets out of his dress he will come for you and your red socked, tinea infested cronies! It is all over for you Little Comrade Gregie. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Hey! what's wrong with Billy Bragg? He did a mad song with Less than Jake - pretty influential, too. |

It's true Eunos, just as people who were parents of the baby boomers thought that Elvis' music was rubbish. Btw, I'm not comparing Elivs to LP etc, just comparing the mind frame of people. |

Fair enough Joel. I was just taking the piss anyway.
I'm very suprised though that none of the right wingers have posted that idiot Bolts article on John Butler in the Hun Friday.
Maybe they heard Butler tear strips of Bolt in a radio interview between the 2 on tripleJ later the same day.
Good radio. |

Bolt was 100% correct about Butler.... Actually he's 100% correct about a lot of things
Andrew Bolt makes it easier to put up with Jill Singer every Thursday!!!
how could anyone not like Linkin Park?? Uncultured savages!!!!!!! _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I wouldn't go as far to say that Bolt is 100% correct about everything because that's not the case. He is often wrong. But by the same token, Jill Singer is often wrong as well. I wouldn't hold up either as the bastions of common sense.
Would have been interesting to listen to them battle it out on JJJ. |

Bolt of course believes that as a writer for the Hun he is untouchable.
Not always so.

I was only joking when I said Bolt is 100% right (unless that's right-wing we're talking about! ) but when you stand him up against Jill Singer, say in a battle of common-sense, Ms. Singer doesn't really stand a chance. I disagree with Bolt on some things he writes but otherwise he's pretty good.

Is that Bolt and Singer or Bolt and Butler? Eitherway, I don't really listen to triple J, Canberra 104.7 is better. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Herald Sun and the Age are always at each other like that - anything to get an upper hand on the other newspaer or one of it's journalists. The HS had something last week about some Age journalist who'd been unfairly sacked or something, I forget the details. That's typical rival newspapers I guess. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
