I know its only inexperience, but Josh seems to jump a little too early. Anyone else see him doing this? I guess he will perfect his ruck role over the next couple of years though.

I've only seen the guy on the telly a couple of times, and perhaps his timing is off (a little keen perhaps?). Before the year started I figured we wont get anything out of him for 2-3 years, so anything else is a bonus. Look at it that way!

Yeah, Josh will really improve in the next 2 years. Look for him next year to add some influence and impact on the games rather than just doing the right things. This guy is gonna be as good as Jeff White or better.

Or a combination of both. He is jumping early to avoid being overwhelmed by an opponents bulk, but is not quite getting it right. More experience is all that is needed.

We have been consistently flogged in the hitouts all season but won the first five games. Josh may not be getting hitouts but in the earlier games he was getting a lot of clearances. He is relatively a lot quicker at bending down and picking up a ball, then getting rid of it, than a lot of his opponents have been. He has also been quick to tackle opposition players when they got the ball after a ruck contest. In otherwords he has been outstanding at recovering from the ruck contests he has been losing. This shows good spirit as well as good athleticism.

Earlier on, his work around the ground was a bit of a hit or miss thing, but did seem to get better with more games.

Go Rogan. This year and next at the next and so on.
