Well about time our esteemed PM actually did something for the community.
He has put pressure upon Telstra to rethink the decision to withdraw 1 mill sponsorship of "Lifeline".
A good move by him.

Can I ask though this;
How does Telstra justify 1mill in phone calls when the infrastructure exists? Are they seriously charging full rates for such a service?
And the big Q; Does Johnny now concede that Telstra if totally privatized will act just like any other private company and ignore its community obligations? If so, why should we continue to privatize Telstra?
