Got the renewal forms yesterday ...sweet...but the funny things is the first payment for next season has already come of the credit card on Monday and the forms say if you need to change or upgrade your membership you need to to do so by Friday the 12th November.....
To bad if you were not happy with your membership or wanted to change....
Still can't get this part right...one day... _________________ YESTERDAY is history

I was like "Whaaa??" when I checked my bank balance!!
2009 I did monthly payments.
2010 I paid upfront.
So I didn't even think it would come out as I didn't do monthly payments at all last season. Not that I wasn't going to renew but... hmmm a bit rude! Thank goodness I had the money in there. I can still pay fully upfront but considering I haven't even received an email for 6 months from the club I wouldn't even know what was going on if it wasn't for Nicks. _________________ HANDS OFF OUR JUMPER

After two weeks I finally had a response from the club after trying to contact them on exactly this matter.
Last year there was a lot of dodgy stuff done when the club took control again of the memberships. When we joined or resigned they were meant to tell you that you would roll over unless you contacted them and stated otherwsie. I found this out this year just in time, as I want to change my seats at Ethiad and want to commence my payments in December. I have a lot of things to get this month, so it suited me better.
So unless you were told this, there is a chance that the person who processed your membership last year has put you down as roll over. None of this has been made clear in the renewal process this year. I think communication at the club has never and will never be great around this area. _________________ The Knights of Abbotsford |

I did mine online last year for 2010, paid up front and ticked the auto renew option, so I knew what was happening.
So this year, once the club website said everything was up, I just logged in, checked my stuff and renewed again.
I've obviously been lucky because I haven't had any problems with the membership department at all. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
