Tottenham today agreed a fee with Brighton for 22yr old striker Bobby Zamora. Very Happy Very Happy
He is now holding talks about personal terms with Glen Hoddle.

Ben Thatcher has left Spurs to join Leicester City. Razz

On another note our other new signing Postiga scored on his debut in a Friendly against Stevenage Borough on Wednesday night in a 2-0 win. He came on at half time and scored after 50 mins with one of his first touches of the game.

Milenko Acimovic earlier scored our first goal of the season with a cool finish from Goran Bunjevcevic's defence-splitting pass after 18 minutes.

Here's Bobby

Good news all round then!

Yeah Iverson is talking to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sick Note is talking to Portsmouth although that may have fallen through.

No news on any midfielders at all at the moment.

And your dead right Creedy, Stevenage are a lowly non-league warm up team. The big test will be a week Sunday when we play PSV and Sporting Lisbon the week after that.

Subject to medicals and personal terms it should be wrapped up by Wednesday.

First Teddy, then Thatcher, then Iverson now Etherington, lets hope Doherty is the next to go!!!

LP i would have cursed you if you said that 6 weeks ago, but i do have to agree with you there.

But we had so much trouble scoring last season, with Ziege out for so long when Keano wasnt there we just couldnt score with the Doc and Teddy up front. Now there is no excuse for not scoring and really all we need now is a young attacking Midfielder, but i think thats why we signed Zamora and Postiga, maybe one of them will play midfield and maybe even keano will take a midfield role. As it stands here is our best side.

Keller

Keane Postiga

Kanoute Redknapp Ziege Davies

Mabizela King Richards Carr

Subs- Zamora, Poyet, Anderton.

Good team on paper, if we can keep injury free, we should challenge for Europe!
