Well this is a turn up for the books, aparently we are putting in a 4 million pound bid for Emerton, a bid that not even Newcastle were willing to spend.

Bloody hell if we pick him up, i would think that Carr would stay and i would think Spurs would have a pretty good line up for the new season.
I might even start giving Hoddle a break!

| this is great news for tottenham and emerton. i have always wanted to watch emerton late on sat night in the EPL. the guy is brilliant and too good for feyenord. |

You couldnt be more correct, im more hoping he signs because his an Aussie not for his skill.
We get little to no exposure in this country even though we are one of the most well supported teams in the world. Think about how badly Spurs have done since winning the FA cup in 91 and we are still the 16 richest club in the world.
Ok he is a great player and would solve alot of problems down back for us but he would bring so much more to us "OZSPURS" than any other player would!

No more like 'What it is', have you been to Newcastle mate? Well as an English born Australian i have and its the arse end of the world!
Take Adelaide- put the Populations of Broadie, Moe, Dandenong and the entire Western Suburbs in there, then add the stench of BO from about 2 million arabs and you have Newcastle.
Although the Soccer team is half decent.
