Details needed, is he the son of the old crows player? |
I believe so. |
Not.Dad plyed 196 games for Glenelg who is aligned with Crows. 200 games for WAFL or SANFL clubs gets them a free hit at their kids. Ashley McIntosh was eligible for Eagles after his Dad spent a day sitting on the bench years for some Perth side after he retired to qualify his son. |
Never mind his Dad. His Granddad was Graeme Campbell who played 151 games for Fitzroy in the late 50s and early 60s. I remember him as a classy player in a crappy team. He was a tough little bloke who regularly beat players quite a bit bigger than him. If young Brayden has inherited his Granddad's determination he will be good value for us. _________________ Born and raised in Black and White |

Just to clear it up, Ranga Rodney Maynard is not his Dad. His dad is Peter "Max" Maynard. Max is a ripping bloke who used to work with Perty at MMM. He was then the marketing mgr at Melbourne (obviously a tough gig). His brother played Division 1 basketball in the States, albeit a smaller college.
Solid no frills kid, think Scotty Burns. |

Love young Goo but this bloke is the cream for me last night. Built like a brick dunny, monster left hoof and huge mongrel factor. If you play on this guy all game you are going to come off sore for days. LOVE IT! |

Hine really likes him especially because he actually kick!
He will be a good half-back flanker in my opinion. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Becoming a premiership player isn't a curse.
Relax he'll prove to be far better than Dawes anyway. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I'm guessing we have him pencilled in to complete our group of young backmen: Frost, Scharenberg, Maynard, Williams, Oxley, Langdon and Moore. If all work out we've pretty much set up our future backline right there.
Got the young rucks sorted and making progress on the young midfielders and wingers with Adams, Kennedy, Freeman, Thomas, Broomhead and Seedsman developing plus De Goey.
Now for the forward line. We have Elliott but not sure who else is potentially going to be really dangerous around goal in 3 or 4 years. Let's hope Fasolo, Reid, Karnezis and White can do the job. |
DeGoey plays as a natural forward _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"
