They suspended Bennell, McKenzie and Maters for drinking the day after they beat the lions.
On top of that they lose Mays for 3 weeks add to that injuries and they now have 26 players to select from.
26 look at there outs and they are massive
A couple injuries or suspensions this week and they may not be fielding a full 22 soon
O'Meara will be placed on long term you would think so they can bring in a rookie but wow they don't have any other season ending injuries atm
Good luck Eade your going to need it ole mate
Wonder what he is thinking now about his nice cushy job at the pies |

There are a lot of coaches with the Dr Phil: "what were you thinking, boy?" on their heads...
but the reality is that given the wild card nature of our competition, as opposed to la Liga - Barcelona, Real, Athletico, the rest forget it, anything can happen.
it may be that an enthusiastic young coach could get the gig at Essendon or Carlton next year, win 6 straight and make the finals. 2 years later reality sets in and the coach is sacked, never to be rehired, because the structural problems at either place were not addressed. |

They were handed everything on a silver platter. It was all expected to happen with the best in multiple drafts gifted to them. The Board was appointed by the AFL as were/are the Coaches. It was a Gravy Train everyone was riding and now it's turning to shit just like the bears. But alas the AFL will gift them more draft picks and more money. |
