The deserve all the plaudits. I have enjoyed watching their games and love the way they play. They will do a Port Power this year as no one rates them.

they are playing a very good brand of footy. i feel somewhat sorry for mccartney as he built the foundation of the team but it seems that beveridge is allowing them a bit more freedom. footy can be so over engineered.

it will be interesting to see how long they sustain this energy and form. even if they do fall flat on their faces we all know what to expect of them. let's hope the bulldog fans get on board.

I purchased a doggies membership for a guy I know who is down on his luck but has always stuck with them. He is loving 2015.

nice. as much as we disparage clubs like the welfare and pauperoos we need the clubs to have a viable competition and also not to lose the rusted on. it was sad the day fitzroy folded and we lost a lot of long term supporters to the game.

The Doggies are playing great football! They're clearly the story of the season so far.

Like all young teams you'd expect they'll go through a slump eventually but they're playing a great brand of football that catching a lot of sides off-guard. It's a far cry from what we witnessed with them during the off-season.

Gave up a 55 point 3rd quarter lead to the Saints. #realitycheck

So my son flew down to Melbourne with his aunt to watch the Pies and her beloved Bulldogs.

What a wretched weekend for both of them.

I can't help but be suspicious that some of the Bulldogs players had made bets they would lose and cashed in.

Listen folks St Kilda is much better than the pundits who tipped them for the wooden spoon thought they would be. Remember that if they'd beaten Essendon (and they should have) they'd be right up there with us on the ladder. Makes our win against them look even better now.

Like us the Buldogs are a young side and will learn a lot from that loss.

Very surprised by the way the Bulldogs collapsed in the second half against the Saints. Some of their fans are making excuses that they were fatigued from last week's match against the Swans but the Saints only had a six day break to prepare for this game and a team leading by 55 points early in the third quarter should never let a lead of that magnitude go to start off with.

The Bulldogs haven't done a lot wrong this season. They've played an exciting brand of football that will trouble a lot of sides but I do question whether their manic tackling game plan is sustainable for the whole year especially with a young side they have. They seemed to have no plan B beyond their frenetic tackling game plan which almost resembles the pressure we applied in our Premiership year in 2010.
