If they can't have Didak what are they going to ask for?? I seriously hope that it won't be our first (and possibly also no.24 from North) draft pick, we need it!!!!! _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

David From Canberra, if we get Stevens for picks 17 and 24, we would be EXTREMELY happy. That would be a huge win for us and would represent Port caving in. |

i agree with lone ranger, i would be extremely satisfied with nick stevens for pick 17 & 24
Stevens is quite young, and we already have a young list. We do not necessarily need those 2 picks at this time. Stevens is a good, established player, we have no guarantees that would we get a quality player with those picks anyway.
I dont see port agreeing with this trade however, unless they are desperate |

Hope we're not going to be hit by any surprises if it evenuates. Pick 17 and 24 seem OK by me. Scotland will go to a good club, coached by someone who knows him and will spend more time in the midfield. I wish him all the best except when he plays us. Beggars can't be choosers. We got only a 2nd draft pick for sob case Nicky so Choker better learn to live with it. I suspect Port would prefer dealing with Carlton and Stevens will be under enormous pressure to take the money. If Stevens does come to Collingwood it will be for all the right reasons. |

Many a person has claimed that Bucks is a receiver without realising what he actually does during the course of a game. I'm with Creedy here, Stevens is a class act. He has pace, knows how to get the ball and most importantly, what to do with it. We should continue to play hardball until late in the week as we have something Port wants, good players. That doesn't mean we should give up Didak or Presti but Scotland and pick 17 would be a great trade. |

it is a joke and really all players are keeping their cards close to their chest. Collingwood is his preferred location and the media is just reporting hearsay, because at this stage its all they have. _________________ Chuffed to have seen 3 flag wins in my lifetime but still greedy for more. |

I actually think all of this stuff about Nick Stevens coming to Collingwood is just a bunch of crap because if Port are smart (which i doubt they are) they should trade Stevens to Carlton and try and get their first round draft pick and try to get Adam Cooney but if they do that Carlton will still get Cooney anyway becuase haven't Carlton, Western Bulldogs and some other team got priority picks? _________________ "You know life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and take a look around once in a while you could miss it!!" |

Cooney is going to Bulldogs because they have 1st pick (priority). No matter what Port does they will not get him. Bulldogs have said on record that their priority and pick 1 is not for trade. |

damn it I wanted Port to look like fools!! and as if Adam Cooney would go play for them anyway they were luck enough to get Steven Salopek last year (I am still crying about that)!! _________________ "You know life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and take a look around once in a while you could miss it!!" |
