I'd like to guage public opinionon the rules series. My feeling was that is was the biggest beat up by the media/AFL to get behind a flawed concept.

Granted the crowd voted with its feet in WA and Vic. but I am not sure it is all that great a spectacle.

What are your thoughts Confused Confused

Good topic, lihei. It's not all that out of place in the Sports Bar but probably better off here.

I think, overall, it's good - even if a little strange.

People will vote with their feet and, so far, it seems they like the concept.

Personally, I absolutely love these games. I really get sucked into all the hype and find the actual game very interesting and enjoyable to watch. I definetly dont think its a flawed concept.

I really enjoy watching those games I remember when I went in 2001 and there was this fight and all the players came off the benches it was pretty funny!!! After the game me and my friend went to go meet up with my mum, dad, Aunty and Cousin and all of these Irish people were singing coz they won and my mum was singing away with them and she didnt even know what she was saying (we still pay her out about that)!!!!

While I didn't actually watch the games, because I was out the last two Friday's, I enjoy the concept, and when I do get a chance to watch them, I enjoy doing so.

It would have been much more interesting to watch if Collingwood players were in the team!

As good as the games and series are...the Novelty will wear off one day and it will be just a memory of what used to go on at the end of the season as you waited for your team to get back onto the field.

I went on Friday night at the MCG the atmosphere was fabulous the crowd was really into it , I had a ball it was rather funny cheering for players that u normally hate and booo. Razz The Irish fans where sooo hilarious to watch. hahahaha...
The players where there representing their country, which a lot of them are honoured and proud to wear the green and gold. What if its not Collingwood or black an white it has no excitement Confused Confused Confused …Broaden your imaginations it is a fabulous game and it made me go back to the MCG and face what had happened in September. Sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
The fans where all in their clubs colours wow !!!! the amount of Collingwood supporters that attended it felt great Very Happy Very Happy

My Care Factor is no Collingwood player played so we had no chance of getting an injury.
