Shows the lunacy of this thread that anyone could propose trading out your Copeland trophy winner and most consistent player in the last 6 years. |

Well, you have to give something to get something. Naturally, if you want to pick up a talented, under-performed half-forward flanker who can't or won't chase and whom nobody much seems to like, you'd have to give up a club all-time great. |

So you would trade sidebottom? |

Thankfully they are just misguided fans and not power brokers within the club. I believe that Steele will be part of another premiership at the Pies. _________________ People forget that our last premiership was only 2010 and rebuilds take some time. 2018 we play finals again. |

The thread was two fold:
1. Fasolo &
2. Sidebottom
I don't recant from the Fasolo trade as if we could get the Eagles pick 30 and bring in a Watts or Saad type to fill a need, I and many on Nicks would do it.
Insofar as Steele is concerned I similarly don't yield. If we could swap pick 6 and Steele for Lynch or Hogan ask yourself the question, would you?? I would. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Of course not. That would be crazy. |

I contribute on here often, what I don’t do is make stupid threads like this one. |

About now, we’d get Lynch, pick 6 and Dangerfield for Sidebottom - and we’d still lose on the deal. |

You've got to admit INXS that this was a fairly cool bump?
And arguing over who posts more seems quite pointless and silly (we all know i post the most). _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

It's just a means of avoidance - if one starts a silly thread with a controversial premise (we have a handful of great players, let's trade them all out to get a FF, even though there'll be no-one left to kick it to him), one has to expect to get bumped every time the proposed trade plays a good game. When the proposed trade is a future Hall-of-Famer, that's going to happen quite a bit. |

There is no such thing as a stupid thread. Only threads. It's how people react within them to contrary opinions that is stupid. Passion is one thing, antagonism is another. If everyone bumps threads everytime...c'mon...good or bad... doesn't matter as things keep changing all the time. Get pantsed by the Bombers and the cycle starts anew. _________________ Get back on top. |
