We will never be allowed to beat an interstate team in a grand final..... thats how the AFL have set it up.........unless we get a whole bunch of people in the bureaucracy of the AFL this will always be the result.. get used to it. _________________ Pi = Infinite = Collingwood = Always

Done. Was there to pinch. Now, with a loss, it becomes and unnecessary and unexpected burden. What a shemozzle. _________________ Est. 2002 |

4 minutes to go and eagles can’t get it out of defence.
Then someone on the wing switches sideways/backwards rather than driving it in again.
Who was that (I don’t want to watch replay)
That decision cost us the game |

Be negative if you wish, but we had a great season.
We have the tools to go forward, and go one better.

Tommy Langdon, you personified the Collingwood spirit today. How often did he repel a West Coast attack? Mayne also was an absolute tiger.
Brodie and Sidey beaten today, but they're part of the reason we even got there.
Brilliant effort boys. |

Bucks curse! |
Oh RH, it was bitterly disappointing wasn't it. But they were not disgraced and fought valiantly. What more can you ask? I was just so thankful that bloody McGovern didn't win the Norm Smith!!! |

that's the thing.....we probably won't be back to the GF next year. That's the way.....you have to win when you get the chance......Dogs, Tigers took their chance didn't they. They found a way. |

Oh man that hurts.
It's hard to remember that at the start of the season we would have been pretty happy to make the 8. We would have been stoked to make top four. We would have been ecstatic to win some finals. To get within five points, or two minutes, of winning the premiership is so far past expectations it's not funny.
I'm gutted, but so proud of our team. I've got no doubt we'll be back. |

5 goals to 0 and lose a GF?
Only Collingwood.
I think I’m just about done for a while. Not worth the pain. I wish the club well, but L-L-D-W-L-L is just too much to take.
Now these poor young men ahead of their time have the ‘privelege’ of being part of Colliwobble folklore. Life ain’t fair. _________________ Est. 2002

We weren’t the best team and had we won it would have been robbery like the dogs. Just so sick of making Granny’s when we shouldn’t and coming up short.clearly a sheppard but umps were ok. We won the free count. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

So farking predictable. |
Start favourites.....tick
Five goals to none in opening 20 minutes....tick
Lead for 95% of the game......tick
Lose the GF......you can't get a better definition of Colliwobbles than that. |
Sorry, but the Colliewobbles are just a media fabrication and nothing else. We were beaten by a more physically blessed today and we were not disgraced. |
