Not sure about this summation. Cox...yes...but Grundy is an even more major key. If we tune the piano, Grundy A major, Cox A minor alternately playing A major, Roughhead B major to support the crescendo, and midfield armada to play the symphony support _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Sier not listed in the squad. Injured or just omitted?
Would have expected him to be selected ahead of Wills and the Brown boys. _________________ Side by side. |

Thoughts on Nathan Murphy—the game last Friday for starters

I noticed that. But Treloar and Cox have both been named emergencies despite being named in the initial "squad". They can both do without eight hours flying for various reasons.
Sier played in the scratch match against Melbourne, and I would imagine most would only play two of the three. If he doesn't play next week then there's something we don't know.
They need to get midfield minutes into players like C Brown, Daicos, Wills etc. Sier will play round 1 barring injury.

You're right of course. I guess my point was that Grundy is already an AFL star and is consistently good, so we now expect that from him. However, Cox is still a major work in progress. If he fires, like he did in the Prelim, we will be almost unbeatable. However, there were many games last year when he hardly fired a shot. So by my way of thinking, he is the great unknown, the one player could make or break our season. |

An interesting addition to this re last night WCE v Cats—after watching facets of the game and the more prominent (from yrs past) entry into forward 50 appeared to favour marking forwards
Play our cards right and we have in Cox a steal on the comp _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Forecast is now 39 with a weak sea breeze. Could be still in the low 30's by game time.
Should move the game back an hour, 1640hr WST start. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

So am I right in believing we'll have 9 members of our GF side missing today?

Season 2019 is starting and we absolutely have to go the extra step
From the getgo 2018 we experienced some amazing high’s and some disappointing low’s
But experience is the tool we can use to limit the low’s and increase the high’s _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

On to today's results... game (who cares) give the new kids a run. .if we lose by 50 points fine by me.
But let's just come out of the game with a clean sheet. Then we can all be happy.
As history has proven, years where we have done poorly in this comp. Normally bodes well for the season.
I remember in the "low years" we did well and fell in a hole during the season proper.
Just look at Carlton...already played thier grand final against Essendon 😂😂😂 _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Keep an eye on Rotto, when that breeze starts to go more SSW, the Doctor is on the way. Joondalup Arena is only 4k from the coast so once the breeze kicks in (I'm guessing about 1400WST, or earlier) the temperature drops pretty quickly.
