If we win the toss, I reckon Tim should bat first. |

Sydney annihilating Melbourne last night kind of puts a damper on last week's win.
Pretty nervous about this one esp in Adelaide.
Oh well that's what following footy is about. Not for the faint hearted esp if you barrack for Woods - or Melb or Dogs or Aints or GC or NM or ..... |

But remember, Melbourne were treating last week as a final.
It will be a tough game today. Adelaide will be desperate.
I've been impressed by Wills the last few weeks. Hope he steps up again. Makes us better and tougher in the centre. When our midfield fires, so does our forward line. I'm tipping a big game from WHE today.

Expecting a huge game from Greenwood today. Its taken him a whole career to get to 150 games and he must know the odds are against him ever getting to 200. Today is as good as it gets. He is also an Adelaide lad who began playing as a junior for Port, so in this two team town he acquired his distain for the Crows at an early age.
Today he plays in front of a large group of invited family and friends. I think we can be assured that he won't be leaving anything out there when the final siren sounds. |

Weather looks good at his stage - clear skies and no wind. No great threat of rain although will get cloudier.
Looking like finals weather _________________ I think therefore I think - I think |

A very weak Collingwood team, playing a second gamer in the second last round before finals, injuries galore, Adelaide in Adelaide.
Hate to be a negative one, but Crows rather comfortably I would say.
Having said that, only a minor miracle can get us into the top 4, and only consecutive smashings at the hands of the Crows and Bombers will see us drop out of the 5 or 6 spot in percentage, so not overly concerned. Just no more freakin’ injuries before week one of the finals. _________________ Est. 2002 |

The Crows would have beaten most teams last week.
All of a sudden, Fogarty looms a danger. His kicking on goal is sublime.
We need our mids to get amongst the goals this week if we’re to get over the line. Pendles and Sidey have been getting forward and Treloar has found some room lately. Five or more from these guys could be the difference.
Whoever goes to Lynch has the big job, probably Howe but you don’t want him dragged to far up the ground.
This one has got nail biter written all over it. |

He just stifles so many of the oppo attempts at stoppage break, usually with suffocating tackles. And when we get possession do they have a Wills? Not last week. He also feeds it out himself pretty regularly. Net result, reversal of previous games regular stoppage canings.
So extremely important and gives the whole team a feelign of relative "security", vs that feeling of trying to plug up a dam wall of oppo stoppage breaks waiting to break open. Could be the difference today along with our manic pressure and inside evasion skills oh and improved foot passing and blah blah |

I hate these "twilight" matches, especially when they're interstate and they're not on free-to-air. |

"Ye" is plural. (So Oxford online tells us.)
The singular form is "thou". (Oxford online goes on: "The history of the use of ye is complex. In the earliest period it was used only as the plural subjective form. In the 13th century it came to be used in the singular, equivalent to thou.") |
