Billy is hot hot hot and back to the Billy we know and love
Maintain that form and bring back the Dominant Duo of JDG and Stevo and oh boy
Checkers didn’t hit scoreboard but competed
And JT was back closer to 2018 form

That'll do Pies, that'll do!
I rate that the best win for the season. The Crows were as flat as the Earth in 10,000 B.C but....we still put them away in devastating fashion, and finished the game off strongly for a change.
I saw the run come back, the hunger come back, the tackling pressure come back and spirit return from the dead. This was the Collingwood of 2018 that I've been waiting for and we will only get stronger from here on.
I think we can go on now and lose another GF _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

Big shout out to Wills.
Strength in the midfield.
It is what we needed!!!!!! |
Yes, Wills is making a big difference, simply by playing a role that he understands well and has practised mightily in the VFL. This game shows that he has achieved AFL standard in this role. Well done Rupert Wills. Rapt for him. He is supplying the booster rockets our midfield has lacked for almost the entire season: two quality, tough inside mids. With Tay and Rupe smashing into the ground level contests, Pendles and Adam T are free to run on the outside. Sidey is free to occupy the entire ground like the Holy Spirit (Omnus Ubiquitus).
I think we have to cognise the significance of Rupert Wills. Not that he is necessarily starring, but simply that his presence, as a bullocking physical inside mid, has balanced our entire midfield array, and allowed the outside attacking potential to express itself. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Don't worry DTM it always happens when we start playing well and flattening opponents it's a good sign as much as non deserved. |

Could create its own problems with synchronicity, but who cares?? It's a great problem to have!!! I think the winning formula was in evidence today - clear out the space for a forward who is on fire -be it Billy, Stevo or JDG. |
