A lot of our players are landing awkwardly when they fall. I suspect there'll be a few saw bodies tomorrow |

Game Further Over. JDG into the centre and gets the clearance, follows up and kicks his 3rd goal from 50m. |

Final score Collingwood 14.5.89 slaughtered the hapless Tigers 6.8.44.
Disposals: Treloar 34, Mayne 31, Adams 30, Crisp 28, Noble 23, Maynard 23, Gamend 21 (which is a little surprising, since he had 22 at 3/4 time), Flip 19, T Brown 16, Elliot 16, etc.
Goals JDG 3, Cameron and Daics 2, Cek, Cox, Elliott, Reid, Phillips, Crisp 1 each. |

Good signs. Collingwood had two unanswered runs of 5 goals in the first and last quarters. |

Yeah, didn't look good.
"F***", Ads said, as he clutched his left hamstring.
There goes round 1 for him. |

I suspect Treloar will miss the next 6 weeks....like Moore, any re-injury will mean an even longer stint on the sideline. He might even miss the first 6 rounds....potentially more if it is a high hammy strain |

He's just got to stay off that side of the ground. _________________ no second chances |

If Ads has done his hammy, then WTF did they leave him on for the WHOLE game, allowing him to put extra, unnecessary load on the bloody things???? He could've come off at three-quarter time, having had a really good hit out. Sigh.
Hopefully, it's no more than tightness. There was ice on nearly every player in
the rooms after the game, so lots of tired, sore bodies.
Anyway, we had a good win and there was some really positive signs from many players. Can't be getting depressed before the season has already started.
Really enjoyed seeing the big Texan take some grabs. |

You had some fun with Madgen's stats during the game eh?

Had to go out for a bit, so I missed the last quarter.
How serious is Treloar's injury? _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

It’s not bad. It was a twinge. He probably shouldn’t have taken the kick straight after. But he was walking comfortably in the rooms, so it’s probably just a Collingwood 2-year soft tissue rehab problem. |
