Past historical experience is what tells you that gWS will play dirty. Bringing Mumford in is a clear message about their intentions. Cox always has an impact, just by his very presence. The GWS defence has to deploy resources to ensure they neutralize him; hopefully we have thought well about selecting Cox and intend to use him in an intelligent fashion - not as a highly predictable key target, but mainly to create more of an aerial presence in our F50, and deflect the ball to ground level for our small forwards. Cameron had very little impact in our F50 last week, so bringing Cox in to replace him can't be a hindrance unless we play stupidly. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

It’s not like the Brown brothers and Daicos are keeping out any decent players ( Treloar aside ) The sooner these kids get to fifty games, the sooner they become better footballers. You keep playing them while you’re winning and they’re contributing.
It was only last season, most on here had Daicos finished as a senior player.

If he saw Cameron as having anything to do with “electric chemistry” in Collingwood’s forward line, Cornesy was surely watching a different game. It may not be the right call to bring Cox in but it was the correct call to put Cameron out. But in our present team structure, dropping Cameron entails bringing in Cox because we have no one else on the list who, at this stage, can play FF and ruck. |

Was thinking the same, or perhaps Sier for Brown and try and hammer them on the inside with Adams, Wills and Sier _________________ In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away |

At least say you've changed your mind. You were calling for Cameron's omission and Cox in through another post. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

I hope the rumour going around that Grundy is out is exactly that, a rumour. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Cameron would have been a poor selection tonight. Poor up forward and will be useless in ruck relief against Mumford.
Provided we don't get Cox centric, Cox is a better inclusion on all counts. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Wouldn't stress just yet, it was on the CFC Reddit stream. I saw a picture of Grundy walking into the ground. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Brining in Mumford shows they will.

We have fielded a very strong side. In fact, put Treloar in that side (for whom I’m not sure) and we’d have the best side on the park since about 2012. I just hope they are ‘on’. _________________ Living in Geelong, barracking for the 'pies! |
