Already unhappy with selection but as a Geelong defender I'm certainly putting it on my right boot - C Brown, WHE, C Mayne.

Like to see IQ play more off half back and probably in mid field. PLay Stevo on the wing would be good need for speed there Phillips is too slow Must say Callum Brown and Wills very lucky to be selected. I would have picked Sier before Wills. Shame about Shaz but i feel they didnt pick him as a pre caution thats all. It all also hinges alot on Cox and his effect he can either play really well or have a shocker. All i want Cox to do is to create a contest and bloody hell make an effort.

Cox is doing his best version of the statue of liberty these days and that is all. Keep giving him a game and he might actually mark a one hander but after that what's the point having him there anymore. He needs to be more aggressive and look like he gives a shit to win me over.
I hate the cats they play very similar to us but are more reliable week to week. Cats in a shiet game.

Emergencies: Darcy Cameron, Josh Thomas, John Noble, Jack Madgen.

Not selected: Brayden Sier, Tyler Brown, Ben Reid, Nathan Murphy, Trent Bianco, Jay Rantall, Max Lynch, Lynden Dunn, Tim Broomhead, Flynn Appleby, Mark Keane, Tom Wilson.

Injured: Tom Langdon, Dayne Beams, Matthew Scharenberg, Levi Greenwood, Will Kelly, Jeremy Howe, Trey Ruscoe, Anton Tohill.

Suspended: Steele Sidebottom.

When you look at that, I think we've named an alright team. Sier is one player you could make a case for. We've addressed the Howe injury by bringing in IQ with our back 6 boasting two talls in Roughy and Moore. Varcoe is there to cover the loss of Sidebottom.

Cox may be a late omission - he has calf strapped at the moment.

Weather not as bad as first thought its got good drainage there at Optus and will probably get around 5mm with around a 60% chance of occuring so i find it maybe a tad more drier but we must adapt to the conditions fast. Bring in Murphy, Appleby or maybe Wilson in for Cox.

You cannot bring in anyone who was not named as an emergency.

Hmm...that's not good news. That might be why Darcy Cameron was named as emergency. I hope this is a false alarm.

Well, the rains arrived in Perth. http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR70C.loop.shtml#skip

Still scratch my head that they'd name Cox in the starting line-up. I reckon Cameron in will be the late change. Better option for the ruck if Grundy was to go down.

Duncan out is a bonus. A East Perth product and good player who woul have gone alright in the conditions.

If we can get our forward press working as it did against the Hawks we should be able to score from forward entries.
Risk is the Cats are good on the slingshot - as we saw against the bombers we can't let them get out the back.

Omitting Cox for Thomas would help us with the pressure.

i dont know, i think Cox has been pretty average last 3 weeks, and he is easily knocked off his feet, geeefrickenlong like to tunnel and they get away with it,

just win this one pies, no matter how ugly.
