Doesn't get much in the way of accolades but this bloke really puts in.
Topped the tackle count (9), again, against the Cats. _________________ Donny.

Yep, I'm loving his form in 2020, but just not his kicking for goal... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Totally underrated and a bit of a Nick’s kicking target by those who didn’t want him recruited to Collingwood. He has been an essential part of our run and carry brigade and his value is immense. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. He was sensational against the Cats, and has been invaluable all year doing stopping jobs. _________________ Get back on top. |

He is also punching well above his weight in his relationship and doesn't receive enough cudos for that either. Well played, Sir. Well played. |

Mayne should a lot of ticker and always works hard, he makes me nervous, but you would not question his toughness and determination. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Good call and I would also add, he is one of those soldiers who is given a job every week that we don’t necessarily see from watching the game on TV.
His ability to reinvent himself is one of the good stories in footy.
Stood along side him a few months ago ( pre social distancing of course ) and couldn’t believe how lean he was. There’s not that much of him. |

He turned his career around in 2018, and I give him massive credit for having maintained it since then.
Considering he was signed on a four-year deal, I think most of us will be happy we got three good years out of him. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

^ With more to come - he had his contract extended earlier this year.
He is so under-appreciated by many - I love the way he competes and often makes a contest out of an almost certain opposition possession _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |

He has a lot of good qualities (most of what he does relates to his running patterns which are not picked up without down the ground vision) but I wouldn't include carry as one of them. Look closely at most of his possessions this season and you will see that he is stop, prop and chip sideways or a few metres forwards. While that is happening the defence is flooding back. For that reason he is very rarely involved in a chain of possessions that results in a score. Grundy is in the same category as regards his possessions. |
