Simple. Build a 2020 relationship with him and swoop on a year's time when a free agent. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Essendon have their hands full this trade period.
That could be good or bad, I dunno?
Whats a fair deal for Merrett? I cant see it being able to be done. Essendon are stubborn. They held onto Daniher when they could have made the move last year. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

If we got Merrett and Cameron in exchange for DeGoey, Treloar and Cox in whatever combination was needed, we'd be doing OK.
We could build a new forward line around Cameron and Merrett provides an upgrade in the engine room. |

Good and a Left footer
Good luck dealing with Dodoro for any Essendon player. As much as he hates not being seen as winning on a trade, he also hates giving away anything that could improve an opposition. If this deal should get done, it would most likely be in the last hour of the trade period. |

Still not good enough to become a flag winning team. Need to fill more

I’d trade Sier or Phillips with a pick exchange |

There’s every merit in recruiting Zach. He’s a good player. We can’t afford him unless we unload players. The only reason we may be talking to Essendon would be if they want to trade. Zach has a year to go on his contract. |

I didn’t think Rutton was that stupid but good luck. Maybe Essendon will turn into another Fremantle. Those were the good old days. |

Obviously a decent draft pick. Or Sier and Phillips, Essendon have been linked to Sier for a while and we’verarely seen Sier and Phip play in the same team |

I was fortunate as kid and teenager to see great uncle Thorold ( we called him thruppence as we rekon he could turn on a tray bit) and he was exceptional
At the young age of 27 with a broken leg that did not knit joined the TV as a commentator and was asked “if yo have a boy where will he play “ to which he said “only Collingwood “
He never had that son but Zac I believe is great nephew and a bloody good player whom I have in a heart beat _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
