Live football i hope.
Do we have to pre-purchase our tickets though at this stage, even with a season ticket we cannot rock up to ground on the day yet?
I was thinking of seeing Rd1 given Treloar will have a point to proof. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

I am hoping it will be something like this with Moore playing forward and Kelly playing back. We need to move on from WHE & Thomas. Would like to move on Roughead as well but at this point cannot see an obvious replacement.
FB: Quaynor - Roughead - Howe
CHB: Maynard- Kelly - Crisp
C: Daicos - Pendlebury - T. Brown
CHF: C.Brown - Mihocek - Elliott
FF: Moore - Cox - Sidebottom
R: Grundy - De Goey - Adams
I: Ruscoe, Murphy
Remaining two spots to be filled by whoever is deserving |

^ Good team, nice one, tho i would like one more kid, a first gamer, young bloke Reese Mcinness sounds a great find, big prospect, exciting kid, how long will he wait before his first game, id rather him, than Thomas and WHE.? _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Unfortunately McInnes has a finger tendon injury. Not sure how long he'll be out for _________________ Hot pies |

Just Putting Moore in the forward line with Cox and Checkers is going to scare the living daylights out of any side especially the tigers!!| I'd put him at half forward so he can run down those wings!! With Howe back to cover the intercepts it may just work! |

Given that Kelly played ( very well ) as a key defender in the U18 championships, it is a little surprising the club seems he’ll bent on him reinventing himself as a forward.
Wouldn’t be the first player to go from one end of the ground to other and make it but it becomes a wasted apprenticeship if the transition doesn’t work.
I would still like to see Howe get a shot in the front half but that looks less likely as every year rolls on. |

Yes Moore can swap between high forward or deep forward I don't care I just want to see something different with our Forward and Mids. And Moore has already shown he is capable as a forward. There has been a sameness to our midfield and forward line since 2018. The backline has held up during this time but the mids and forwards failed in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 finals series. Please Buckley do something different! It won't guarantee success but please TRY!
But I am predicting it will be much of the same team with just a few young kids added around the edges. |

Mitch Cleary @cleary_mitch·
Couldn’t have been more impressed by Josh Daicos in Collingwood match sim today. Played as a pure mid, looks fitter again and can rise further on 2020 breakout.
Finlay Macrae is ready to play AFL R1.
Jeremy Howe & Brody Mihocek trained beforehand... Mason Cox ran laps |

Thanks.
I have MacRae as a smokie for round one too. Hes physically ready to go and has a pretty complete tool kit of skills. Would likely start as a winger or high half forward in this team. Just depends how quick these kids make up the lost time that comes from missing a season of footy. |

^ Id much rather an enthusiastic young kid like him, than say, Thomas, i fail t see how Thomas still stayed on the list, actually, hes been way down on form for ages, long time now. He really must lift a lot, and WHE too. bigtime. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

A lot of it comes down to opportunity. I'd hate to be a small forward operating anywhere in the forward line in the last couple of years, particularly with Treloar streaming down the ground hanging onto the ball looking at who he can handball it to. |

I’d be disappointed if Thomas is considered a top 25 player. He is at best back up insurance and provides depth as a running player when the inevitable injuries happen. At this stage of his career he is more handy than essential. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination.
