Position club representatives outside every gate at Marvel this weekend and record the name of every Collingwood supporter who attends to support the team. Then, when we next make the Grand Final, those people on your list need to be given priority to those GF tickets.
We are at a low point in our recent history. This is when we truly see who stands ‘side by side’. _________________ 3KZ is football |

1998 the club had about 20,000 members and led by Peter Daicos, they launched the 40,000 by 2000 campaign. I bought my first Social Club membership in 1998.
It took until 2003 to reach the 40,000 member target. Numbers have been over 70,000 since 2011. We peaked at over 85,000 in 2019.
Hopefully a few show up and make some noise this week.

In practice it'd be ridiculous and I wouldn't support it being done for real, but I actually don't fundamentally disagree with the principle. Even if we put to one side questions of who does or doesn't deserve a grand final ticket, do I want the most passionate and dedicated supporters – the ones who've cared enough to keep the faith through the hardest times – there in the crowd on grand final day? Yes, absolutely. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

1 'n 6 and we're discussing GF priority ticket allocation, love it!
I think we've had this discussion before David, RE : Longer term members being higher up the pecking order when it comes to finals tickets allocations.
I firmly believe, that a member, who has been a member for say, 30 consecutive years, should have priority over a newer member when the occasion arises. It's about rewarding long term loyalty. That younger/newer member will have their time.
I remember as a kid in the early 70's, Swan Districts were the cellar dwellers for an extended period. We didn't care, we were first there when the gates opened with our giant Black and White flags supporting all 3 grades through the day. Crowds at Bassendean Oval rarely exceeded 5,000 people.
Come the 80's and Swans triple premiership side... you couldn't move at Basso Oval on a Saturday arvo.
Look for a young Skids getting dropped in the goal square at the 58 second mark

Hahahahha.... very amusing!!
I’ll continue to fork out my $1000 a year as a legends member like I have been for the past 18 years and I’ll pick and choose what games I attend.
Then when we make a granny, such as 2010, 11, 18.... I’ll walk in stress free.

Fans have a right to vote with their feet.
Fans have a right not to hand over their hard-earned money to watch shit like what was served up against GCS.
I'll be at Marvel Saturday arvo but I won't condemn anyone for not attending. |

Complete rubbish especially given its being played in the second shittest time slot which simply rules out many people attending... |

Refuse to go to that crap stadium ever again. Collingwood have my hard earned anyway via my membership so makes no difference to them if I go or not. _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:

^ I dont like Marvel, or whatever the hell they call that shithole now, even when we were flying, i rarely went there. Much, much prefer the MCG. Nth home game, so they should get about 8000, maybe 7000 Magpies fans, so be plenty of room. Goodluck to u fans going, especially you T P, you stick fat, thiic and thin, well done. Take some photos, we might actually win the game ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

How does a Collingwood supporter walk into a GF (in which they are participating) “walk in stress free”? What will you be “on”? 🥴 _________________ Woodsman forever |
