Toast within 2 points. The free kick tally is 24 to 13. Since Richmond has been playing all of the football, that sucks. |

West Coast win. Appalling display of umpiring. They should all be sacked. |

What makes the Tigers three flags so remarkable is that they have done it without any assistance from umpires. Every other premiership team seems to be kissed on the D with umpires, but not the Tigers. |

Huh? I reckon the Tigers were favoured by most of the dud umpire decisions.
The two that went WC's way were:
The kick to Kennedy that may have been <15m. (Which ump is going to call that???)
The "dangerous tackle" free to Oscar Allen (who missed the set shot).
There were squillions of Tigers throwing the ball and holding the ball without penalty. One I remember throwing was Dusty.
Obviously, the whole HTB rule has been debated all season. But a throw is a throw. You throw it, you have to be penalised.
And Kennedy was tackled and on the ground when he handballed it over his head. The ball was near parallel to the boundary line but then went over. He was pinged for "insufficient attempt" to keep the ball in.
Sheesh! He was tackled! He had to get rid of it! What else is he supposed to do? And in our game, Darcy Moore handballed like that (but not lying on the ground) and no free against. The ump in our game told the Melb. player Moore was tackled and disposing of the ball!! |
