Let’s rush Adams back so he can be a long term injury again |

Yep, no need to rush him back in. If we have Sier fit and ready to go then he has to play. Let Adams fully recover. |

Grundy and Sier available. I agree with Miyagi-son that we should't bring back Adams. Sier will have to come in and fill the void in the middle for at least one more week. Murphy should also miss if there's any doubt over his corkie.
Still hoping that the "no news is good news" applies for Maynard.
So my changes would be:
In Grundy. Out Lynch (which is unfortunate after his game against Gawn).
In Sier. Out Murphy (injured).
In Kelly. Out Moore (Injured).
In C Brown. Out JDG (Suspended).
Rantall the sub.
The other ins could be Keane, Henry or Macrae if Kelly or Brown are not considered but other nicksters. I doubt Cox will play, but who knows? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Let's not play Henry this year at all. He was so far out of his depth in his previous games, that I'd rather see him get confidence in the VFL this year, so he can hit the ground running next year. To be honest, he seemed timid in the seniors, which is not a good sign. Hopefully, after another pre-season under his belt, he can add some muscles and toughen up a bit. Basically he needs to add a little grunt to his undisputed talent. |

I’m with you on Henry, and add McCrae and Rantall to that list.
They seem so far away from senior footy at the moment, let’s not smash their confidence totally.
They can play in 2022 if they’re good enough.... the pre season should help them. _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

Play Johnson and let him show us the talent he is supposed to have in spades. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

McCrae's last quarter against WC was very good... |

Play him as Ruck Rover, relieve him of the responsibility of trying to tap the ball.
he's only 2 inches taller than Patrick Cripps and would be a better inside mid. |
Do you mean a better inside mid than a ruckman? Or do you mean a better inside mid than Cripps? |

McCrae is ready to go now. He’s better built than Henry and is more highly skilled than Rantall. It’s just a matter of him gaining confidence playing in the senior team. And he needs to play out of the centre of the ground. He’s essentially a clearance player. Anywhere else he’s wasted. |

All you can do is judge them on the training track and since he’s back in full training what do you do? The club could still give him an extra week of training before he comes back in. No need to rush him back. |

Yeah I don’t see the point in risking it, if he’s going to need surgery end of season, then get it done now so he doesn’t have an interrupted preseason.
The club still thinks we can make the eight. Honestly, play the warhorses like Greenwood etc against the bigger bodied teams so they can take the hits for the kids learning the pace of senior footy. We should be in 100% development and reboot for 2022 phase. |

Doubt it. If they did, they wouldn't change the coach now. They'd wait. |

Heard in a news report last week. Maybe they’re trying to stay positive lol
Honestly, a flag or finals tilt is over. Everything should be developing the team of 2022 and beyond |

There's only half a season to go, right
If we start winning games with the new personnel and better approach,
then why not think more winning and finals?
This develops the right mind set going forward and into next year... _________________ Jamie Elliott...you beauty

[quote="simon tonna"]This time tomorrow we’ll know who’s available or not. My feeling is Murphy won’t be available. He’s the player who can’t stay on the park for more than two weeks at a time, three if he’s lucky, and then injured again.
Not missing anything as form goes anyway so I hope A Johnson is considered for a debut.[/quote
A Corkie is hardly an injury you’d compare to soft tissue injury that keeps you off the park on a regular basis? It’s a collision injury and happens to anyone. |
