im not buying into any us vs them shit, but this could get dire very quickly, those restrictions are not enough, regional ie not greater sydney, there is still some crowded suburbs outside that area, and it only takes i person who was at the airport foodcourt in a 5 hour period, 50% capacity at sporting events, gyms open, masks indoors only, so not even on a crowded street, madness,

Correct DTM. The arrogance of NSW by not locking down early enough for political reasons has meant NSW has exported the virus across Australia. Of course she didn’t intend to do this but when you make political decisions over this health issue you should expect to face the consequences. The delta virus is a highly contagious strain & was known to the many & varied health experts in NSW. However Gladys was far more concerned about the politics which has resulted in shoddy decision making unintentionally spreading to the rest of Australia.
The contact tracers in the so called best system in Australia were behind the 8 ball early on because the QR compliance in Sydney wasn’t as good as it ought to have been
Again this points to the lack of a proper National response with the Federal government being actively partisan neglecting its role in national quarantine responsibilities. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

We're dividing ourselves as if we're living in a pre-Federation era. We're all Australians at the end of the day.
I hope NSW can get on top of this outbreak. |
I don’t think we need to worry about the future of federation – all this NSW vs Vic. stuff is just a proxy for partisan bickering. NSW = Liberals, Vic. = Labor. That’s it. You’d see the same posters take opposite sides if the parties in power were reversed. |
I'm hoping the divide continues and we go back to pre-federation times. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

No, don't shut internal borders but maybe we just don't bring any international flights in or at least flights from places that have variants of concern. |
No, shut the internal borders as tight as possible until the situation in other states improves. Minimise the risk of it getting in because we know once it's in, we're farked. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

keep in mind like Jezza said, that's a percentage of the whole population.
There's something like 6.6 Million people in Victoria, around 2.6 million of them are over 40.
It's only people over 40 plus certain categories of worker or health compromised that are eligible, so lets say that's 3 million people.
At the moment, about 1.8 Million (or 60%) people have had 1 shot and 325k (10.8%) the second _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
