25 year has just changed his 2nd AZ jab.
Was scheduled for 8 November but changed it to this Wednesday so he can go to the movies with his mates on the weekend. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

^ Just fyi:
Quote: | The evidence underpinning the recommended 12 week gap between the first and second AstraZeneca shots comes from a study published in the Lancet.
The study found leaving less than six weeks between the initial shot and the booster gave 55.1% efficacy (protection from symptomatic disease). Leaving 6-8 weeks between shots increased efficacy to 59.9%, and waiting 9-11 weeks, efficacy was 63.7%. However, if the gap was 12 weeks or longer efficacy jumped to 81.3%.
So to get the best protection from the AstraZeneca vaccine, you need at least 12 weeks between your first and second shot. |

Just because it's politically convenient for governments to rush people to have second doses doesn't make it sensible. |

One reason why the recent push for vaccine mandates and "passports" may actually be irresponsible, when you think about it. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

My son got his second Pfizer this morning. If it wasn't for mandatory vaccines for authorised workers he wouldn't have got any _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
