Memories of Thommo chatting with the field umpire and bouncing the ball, [testing the feel of it ] before every game in the middle. Also him taking the train to the footy in his last years, happy to talk people. Legend. |

Will be interesting to see if Ed gets them to their clubs home or not. |
Flog them to the highest bidder and put the money toward the foundation. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Tidbit in the H-Scum today says that part of the donated collection was the 1930 won by Richmond's Stan Judkins
So after Ed whacked on about the lack of history in the game etc etc
Does Ed do the honourable thing and donate it to the AFL or Richmond? Nup ... wants to pawn it off to the highest bidder
Classless move Ed |

i have a copy of the auction catalogue for his collection - that included the brownlow. he kept bloody everything. he had scrapbooks going back to his footy days at primary school. footy cards, odd promotional things, all sorts of stuff. i wonder how much the club has of that material? _________________ ___________________

Post subject: 2022 Merch... | |
|
Hi,
Anyone know if 2022 Nike merch is going to be made available to members/public?
I guess this is typically training/media gear and usually you can buy it online by now. Not sure I'm sold on the Playcorp gear and if that's all that's available I might sit it out this season... _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

Why does our members polo have a white 'hoop' just under the armpits?
It looks ridiculous, definitely won't be getting one this year.
My WAFL team, Swan Districts, have gone the opposite way with this years member polo, cut all the crappy sponsorship labels and simply have the club logo on the chest of a black polo with some fine, white trim. It looks great.
Too much clutter and urge to add hoops has made this years collingwood members polo practically sale proof... they'll be in the clearance bin for $10 by June. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Already discounted with a cap thrown in, $45.. still about $35 too much. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Interesting that Sydney have no Nike stuff available either, could be a delay in getting 2022 merchandise as it would be very strange to not even sell the jumpers. |

Since someone else has raised a thread about it too.
I got an email from the club telling me the new Nike merchandise is supposed to arrive before the season starts.
So thats hopefully good news.
Playcorp clothing is very average otherwise. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

Its the quality of the garment that we have an issue with, not the colours.....lol _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

Can we re-up this thread? Looks like the team are wearing new kit (although a little hard to see). Surely whatever delays there have been are about to be resolved??? _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

I was in the club shop about 2 weeks ago and was told the new Nike gear was still on its way, expected in about 3 weeks. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |
