The only thing surer is that Cox will come in and disappoint.
Both players are horrible and wouldn't get a game in any other team. |
I think we should all chip-in and buy them a rotating coffin to get in and out of each alternating week? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

I'd rather chip in and buy them a nice luggage set so they could pack their bags and get the **** out of here. |

VL - Vouis Louitton.
They may as well go out in style with the best Chinese imitation luggage we can afford. |

I'll help them pack, and play bell-boy this October... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Playing first ruck - probably less of a glaring need than someone who can take a mark or kick a goal (or both) up forward. |
Too bad our first ruck is as inept at doing those as the other two.... |

It’s just a question of who’s worse. It’s Cox at the minute. Cameron got subbed out so who knows might be injured. Given Grundy rucks 90% of game can we go with just Checkers, Kruger and Wilson up front. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

No one in their right mind can say Cox is better than Cameron.
It doesn't say much for Cameron though, but I do have a semblance of hope that he can be a decent forward somehow.
One thing is clear, Kreuger is ahead of both. Brings high energy and intensity to the contest. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Cox really struggled tonight.
Was not able to take the marks he needed to.
He did bring the ball to ground on several occasions, but due to our lack of crumbing forwards tonight, this went somewhat unnoticed.
He could have looked far better, with Beau and the Genie swarming at his feet.
To me, Cameron is occasionally brilliant, but overall doesn't impact the game enough.
I think that we have seen some rough cut diamonds glittering though:
Nathan Kreuger, well done. Real mobility and such aggression and determination. A fantastic complement to Checkers
Reef McInnes: great game. Must draw great confidence from this. He is another mobile forward, but can even go midfield as well.
Our coaches have lots of talent, potential and permutations to consider for our next game.
I like what I am seeing.

I no longer think it's even about Cox v Cameron. Cox is now just an indescribably poor liability.
2 kicks (one a behind), 2 handballs, 2 marks, 4 tackles, 7 hitouts, 1 clearance, 25 total metres gained and just 1 score involvement (his behind, obviously).
That was his 78th game and his opportunity to step up and demonstrate that he still had something to offer, week in and week out. He is in his seventh season of senior football and has turned 31. It's not now an "experiment" - it has become a joke. |

Maybe Darcy Cameron is the final nail in the coffin for... Darcy Cameron
Cox nailed his own coffin shut last night. Might have to ditch the shades or get clear ones or something. Be interesting to see his eye movement when the ball got close to him last night, is he subconsciously closing his eyes? _________________ Get back on top. |

Cox will go ok in the VFL again and give us food for thought, but only day matches. Night games are over.
Krueger, Checkers, McInnes, McCreery, Wilson, Ginnivan, Sidebottom from now on. With Cameron rotating if needed. |
