We’re trolling the competition now 😂 |
^ One of the most entertaining things about today's win was Elliott's missed set shot from about 50 out, just left of centre. About a million Essendon supporters are eating their own livers after seeing that.

My heart can’t take much more of these close finishes. Any chance of putting a side away by 3qtr time lads so I can sit back and smoke the pipe and enjoy.

A pretty good win, especially given the flagrant hand-outs to Port from some dreadful umpiring decisions - BUT we need to develop the same discipline as we have in winning close ones, to breaking the opposition’s spirit when we have them on the rack.
We have had a great year, but it’s hard to believe that we are really as good as the top few sides, given our inability to crush anyone as they often do.
Adams and Howe injuries are not likely to be one-weekers, either. Very tough three weeks ahead.

Did the umpiring appear as disgraceful on the TV as it appeared at the ground? Jesus wept!

Another heart stopper!I thought we might have a comfortable win when we got 23 points up early in the last quarter, but I should have known better. That’s not how we roll.😊
It was really a gutsy win when you consider that we lost Adams and Howe during the game, and Mihocek didn’t play at all.And then you have to consider the umpiring which was a joke.It was like playing against a team with three extra men.How many goals did they get from lucky free kicks or 50 metre penalties?

10 in a row, without the following
1. Monster forward
2. Monster defender
3. Bull midfielder
Teams with multiples of the above are languishing in obscurity.
Not to mention constant poor umpiring and media bullying.
Well done boys.

I see it and I can believe it.
This run of narrow victories has gone from the unbelievable to the absurd to now being plain piss funny.
Fair to say when you haven't had to sit through it live these wins are highly enjoyable and I can't wait to watch the replay.
Injuries to Adams and Howe a cruel blow to our top 4 chances now however.
