Great book.
Got a copy of it recently and it's been enjoyable reading.

| Jezza, if the book is largely about club politics, just be aware that the author was desperately trying to cling on to power when the New Magpies got swept aside. That story's in other folks' books.

How could this be allowed to happen? This is far from a Classic Combo!!
Even Viatel headed by a discharged bankrupt with aliases would never have rolled over for similar grab.
I'd ask supporters to respectfully sew a patch over the offending logo, until this wrong is corrected. Acceptable logo - Hard Yakka (it was ours to begin with), Mini Skips, Viatel, Spicers Paper or a picture of Sharrod Wellingham, seeing he lost us the Wipe Off 5 TAC sponsorship.

Who cares? I grew up in a world where you took responsibility for yourself. If you wanted to eat dim sims and potato cakes 3x a week you did. If you wanted to pack chips and pizza in your kids lunchbox for school, no big deal. If you wanted to smoke and die early, you did. Instead of blaming companies, the buck starts and ends with the individual.
I wish we got sponsored by a lube company, because we are always getting done over by the umpires!
