Quote: | New South Wales and Sydney Thunder offspinner Chris Green is on the verge of an unlikely Australia debut having been called up to the T20I squad in India.
Wicketkeeper-batters Josh Philippe and Ben McDermott are also joining the tour along with left-arm quick Ben Dwarshuis with a group of players leaving after Tuesday's third match in Guwahati.
Sean Abbott, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Steven Smith and Adam Zampa will return home following the ODI World Cup triumph but Travis Head remains meaning he will be the only player to finish the tour who is also set to feature in the opening Test against Pakistan in Perth next month.
McDermott and Philippe have arrived in India while Green and Dwarshuis will link up when the series reaches Raipur for the fourth match. |

So, the Australian Middle Order is heading home to put his feet up for a bit. Along with him, Maxy, Inglis, Zampa and Stoinis - all of whom would otherwise be first-choice T20 players, along with him - are getting a break, too.
The article goes on to indicate that the Selectors have been careful not to disrupt Sheffield Shield fixtures - the reinforcements for the Australian T20 team are players who don't generally feature for their State. |

Maxy's gone and done it again! Bloke's a freak. Not a huge T20 fan, but that can't have been a bad watch. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
