On footy classifyed they said that Collingwood fc has made way to many changes as in terms of changing roles within the footy department.
They say and i agree we changed for change sake for now real reason.

Time to go back to the roles that were used by likes of Leppish and alike like we had in 2023.
Time to go back what worked in 2023.

And for god sake time to practice what you preach. Actions speak louder then words.
Get it done or else we will be re living the 1990s all over again.

Caroline Wilson tells Footy Classified not all is well behind the scenes at Collingwood, before Matthew Lloyd and Kane Cornes wonder if the club has made too many changes in its bid to go back-to-back.

Current coaching set up:

AFL
Craig McRae – Senior coach
Hayden Skipworth – Senior assistant (midfield coach)
Scott Selwood – Assistant Coach (forward line) coach
Jordan Roughead – Assistant Coach (backline line)
Justin Leppitsch – Director of Strategy and Innovation
Brendon Bolton – Director of Coaching, Learning, and Leadership

Development/ VFL
Josh Fraser – Head of Development and VFL Senior Coach
Neville Jetta – Development coach
Chloe McMillan – Development coach
Andy Otten – Development coach
Harmit Singh – Head of Academies
Brendan McCartney – Development (PT)

The same personnel as last year but some have moved to different roles.

Changed roles for Leppitsch and Bolton in response to Graham Wright going on extended leave during 2024.

So Clare Pettyfor has gone back to Melbourne.
Not uncommon for someone to leave an employer then return when things don't turn out as expected. She did come across specifically to work with Graham Wright but he is now on leave.

Demons say she was not poached but they were desperate to get an experienced person on board after all the Clayton Oliver bad press,

The power struggle between Bolton and Leppitsch doesn't worry me. But as they said on Footy Classified, almost every coaching role has changed this year. So many changes! Only McFly and Wade are doing the same job as last year! All caused by Wright's holiday.

And sheesh, Roughead doesn't have a lotta coaching experience...
