You can read that a couple of ways, ie. they themselves feared that (and that could have been a soon as it happened), and they wouldn't have the knowledge to know if he would.
OR, the club feared after the match, and after the incident, that he could have lost sight. Before they received medical advice. |

If Clemo had lost sight in one of his eyes, i would have gladly donated one of mine as a replacement.

you were right!!!
I take it all back, I will never question you again, your sources are accurate. You must be from within the club!!!
As you can see i am very happy to be wrong. Only 27 hours to go. _________________ BRING IT ON. |

I know this is already been posted but seeing as this is as much joy us collingwood fans can have this year,i want to say well done to Clement for making the All Australian Side for 2004!!.
Hope he enjoys his trip to Egypt that he's taken,as that was the reason given as to why he couldn;t make the ceremony(was on fox footy),fully deserved but i have to question why only on the interchange bench hmmmmmm. _________________ Jarrod Molloy

damn right it was, but i agree with molloymagic, what on earth is he doing on the bench? he deserved to be in the team not a bloody interchange.
as for lloyd, well i guess he was unlucky but i feel he should have been there, i mean hes the secong highest goal kicker for the year, and i dont think luke power should be in his place, but hird im unsure of, i dont think he had a stand out season, the same goes for voss i guess.
happy roo got captian and treaders vc, its good to see new faces in there i guess! _________________ Scott Pendlebury

I'm happy for James Clement. Well deserved after a great season in the midst of underachievement by most of his teammates. He's clearly one of the best defenders in the AFL and without doubt our best player in 2004 by a street. And it is long overdue given that he was so unfairly overlooked in 2002. _________________ The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity.

Well done Jimmy! A well deserved reward for hard work and talent. Should have made it in 2002 but it doesn't matter now. What a pick up - him and Holland. Freo must be kicking themselves.
Why isn't he on the back flank? He has had a much better season then McPhee (who was - interestingly enough - the draft pick Freo used from the Clemo/Duchy deal). |

And weren't Freo arse £$%$ed in the deal?. Out of the 22 players named in the All Australian team, 3 were drafted by Fremantle. (McPhee, Clement and White).
Well done Jimmy! you deserved it. |

well done to jimmy for a great season and well deserved to make the 2004 all australian team but he should of been on the h.b.f, not on the bench. i fell he had a better season then jones and should of been in his spot (what a joke) _________________ Scott Pendlebury
