I would appreciate it a few more people could fill these out and send them in for us. Also, I would like to hear any changes people think should be made to the questionnaire, ie. additional questions etc. Thanks!

Joel wrote: | This is similar to the questionnaire on the Official site. If you'd like to fill it in, along with a photo, if you wish, and email it to: joel@magpies.net then that would be great.
They will be posted on Nick's Collingwood Page (http://nick.magpies.net) and the link to answered questionairre each will be posted in here aswell.
QUESTIONS:
Do you post on Nick's, if so, what is your username ? (do not have to include if you don't want to)

Why do you support the Pies?
Because I have no choice; the therapy didnt take! It all started when I was 2 or 3, my favourite Auntie was a Collingwood supporter & they were one of the top sides back then (late '60's). It became serious after half time in the 1970 GF, when I listened to the horror on the radio and got the first of many thousands of "What happened to Collingwood" chants at school the following Monday. The disasters of the late '70's/early '80's had a profound effect on my life, and on it goes to this day!
What has been you all time favourite Collingwood game? Why?
The '02 Anzac game, the Rd.8 Lions game, and the first final against Port the same year. The latter particularly was the proudest I've ever felt of my beloved magpies, as we beat a better team on pure guts.
Favourite Player: Past and Present. Why?
Peter McKenna as a kid & Daics later.
Which club do you hate the most? Why?
I dont think any Collingwood suppporter needs to be told WHY I hate Carlton!
Where to you believe that the Collingwood Football Club is heading? Off-field and On-field.
I think we look great both on and off. Once we get our '03 confidence back we have the team to beat anyone.
What was the best goal you have ever seen a Collingwood player kick?
Bucks from 50 out on the boundary, '02 GF
What players have you met? When?
At the Peter McKenna Appreciation Day in '75 '76?, I met Wayne Richardson, Max Richardson, and several others, but I cant really remember who because all I could see was my idol Macca. Still have treasured photos of me with the great Full Forward. As I've mentioned on the board, the entertainment thast day included Hush, AC/DC, Skyhooks, and horrifically, Mark Holden, who was the main act & showed up in a helicopter showering the screaming female fans with red carnations!
I also met Macca at a few soccer games, as he was a Footscray JUST fan like my dad. Later I met Monky out with Brad Hardie and a couple of others at a Melbourne nightspot, and being a Dandenong boy, I met Darren Millane a few times as I knew his brother Shaun. As a result I met Banksy, Grant Fielke & others.
Does the off-field performance matter to you? ie. Financial performance, players behaving etc.
Off-field performance, both of the commitee & in the players personal lives, only matters when it affects the on-field performance, or reflects badly on the clubs honour (such as the way great stars like McKenna, Thompson & Daics were treated at the end of their careers).
Who is the best 1%er in the current side? Why?
Scotty Burns & Ben Johnson Head over the ball always. Richie Cole & Ryan Lonie are showing signs of following suit
What do you think of the current Collingwood membership packages? Why?
Not bad, I'd like to see something more suited to interstate supporters.
How many games do you go to a year?
None, I live in regional Qld. now. If I happen to be in Melbourne when theres a game on, I'll go, but it doesnt happen often enough. Went every week as a kid.
What kind of supporter are you? Mad, Feral, Fun, Quiet?
Unfortunately, mad, bordering on feral, as a few woken neighbours & broken remote controls can attest. I even broke a remote once because we didnt beat Footscray by enough! I'm NOT proud of this behaviour, (but at least I've never hurt man or beast - then again the dogs are smart enough to stay away when they see Black & White stripes on telly)
Did you ever get to go to Vic Park, if so, what are your memories?
Many times. My main memory is coldness mixed with either grief or euphoria. But then the Peter McKenna day mentioned above was a great highlight
How long have you been supporting the Pies?
Several thousand years (Ok, about 38 )
