....and why did we hate him so much apart from him being a Carlton player.....it was because he was a good Carlton player, although I hate to admit it. I'm glad so see the end of him but I acknowledge his skill and fitness to have been acknowledged as one of the best receivers in the game.

I cant' believe I am actually saying this. Doh

If I'd been him I would have stayed one more year just to get to play in an AFL game at the age of the big 4-0 - that would have gone down in history!

If your a Collingwood supporter we all hope Carlton die, but as a Football supporter I admire champions and Craig Bradley is one.

Craig Bradley's longevity as a player has to be admired especially in this day and age.
I don't think too many players will be playing until they are 39YO.
The only reason he didn't play until he turned 40 was the injuries he received in the game against Port.
I think you can acknowledge someone's contribution to the game no matter who they played for - you don't have to like it!
Acnemanis is a perfect example - AFL's biggest Wanker!
