Daisy already gone. Part of Malthouse's contract at Carlton. Must get Daisy as a free agent at end of 2013, or he will not sign on.

Daisy has already agreed to it

Can't tell you how I know this, but I trust my source.

Is that how you do it?

Damn you, thats my rumour

So I might just wait 2 weeks, start a new thread and say I just heard from an impeccable source and act as if no one has mentioned it before

If you aren't going to ban them, which is weird coz you delete threads whenever you feel like it and banning them would be a natural extension of that, then at least quarantine them. Confine them to a hidden board so that journos and scum from TalkingCarlton can't see their garbage and assume that we are all hysterical, irrational idiots.

You know, it's not very otfen I agree with Nick but in this case he's right. Too few are ruining it for everyone else. GD is a nightmare to try and read anything decent without threads being hijacked by posters bleeting out the same shit over and over again.

Banning might be a bit extreme but warnings and maybe 24 hour timeouts might improve the site for the rest of us.

Jesus! We're on the eve of playing finals and hardly anyone is even talking about football! It's doing my head in....

Agreed. But then again, I used to get in trouble for "over moderating" when I was a mod. I'm all for open discussion, but the stream of crap that is posted in GD these days is beyond a joke.

By the way, there are a few mods listed that don't even really post on here anymore. Are all the mods still active, does this list need to be change?
