Hi guys, only a few days until we have to confirm if we want Brodie and it's looking like we won't have enough pledges.

Will keep this thread running in case we can still reach the $2000 mark for a Player of the Future.

PLEASE POST HERE OR PM ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you would like to be involved in NBB Player Sponsorship for 2014 and have a chance at winning some great prizes.

GO PIES!

it's sad that the sponsorships have been placed out of reach of the normal fans :(

They really should have at least the Player of the Future at a lower cost so more supporters can afford to be involved otherwise it's all for the corporates.

I have dropped out of sponsoring a player too this year over 10 year's of involvement because of the price increases and the changes in "benefits" over recent years.

MargOZ, I wonder if you could negotiate a lower cost deal for Nick's and not have the club memberships in the package, given that many contributors would also already be members. That should cut around $370 off the cost.

No luck with any kind of fee reduction. It seems the Player Sponsorships are in demand so they do not need to offer further incentives.

Looks like we will have to skip sponsoring a player this season, and see how we go next year (unless we get a mad rush of last minute pledges...!!!).

GO PIES!

How far off the target are we?

Quick update. Current tally is $1685.

That leaves us $315 short of sponsoring a Player of the Future.

Do we have anyone else interested in participating or can anyone offer a little more?

Will need to know ASAP if we want a choice of player.

Thanks.

I will throw in another $50 (making a total of $100).

Come on people, dig deep.

I'll do the same.

Is there a post in GD to get attention? If the general attitude is apathetic then so be it.
