It makes sense economically but I still find it strange that the only player to play all 22 games last season is still on the rookie list.

Not the first time we have done this. I think Harry O'Brien (as he was known then) was kept on the rookie list a year after he had become a regular in the team.

A premiership and all Australian later, it worked.

Exactly, as long as Frosty is being actively engaged in the discussion and is clear on the clubs longer term intentions, don't see it as an issue.
