Raffle 2 - 2015: Home Game Season Tkt - FEEDBACK PLEASE?

Post by MargOZ »

Hi All,

We have two Adult Season tickets (for home games) to raffle.

Can you please post here or send me a PM to advise if you can use one of the tickets and if you'd like to be included in the raffle draw.

Two winners will be chosen to receive one season ticket each.

GOOD LUCK :)

I already have my membership and don't know anyone who would get real use out of it if I won and gave it to them.

If we don't get any takers, I'd suggest we donate them to someone.

I would love to enter. But will only use it for some games so it would still be available for most.

I'm more than happy to donate our two season tickets to a charity, group or person.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Find out through the club the groups they deal with?

Could the salvos use them on a loaner basis to let different people each week come in?

Have contacted the Club and they are going to get back to me. Will let you know what they suggest.

Sorry for the delay guys, just got this response back from the Club:

"Our community department have advised they don't have any takers at this stage for the tickets..

If you like, feel free to send them to the Club and I'll on-send when we have someone take them up!"

What is the consensus?

I can either just send them back to the Club, or I am happy to hand them over locally. I have contacts at both St Luke's Anglicare and CatholicCare Sandhurst. Both organisations provide support to families and children in need.

Or another option local to me is Radius Disability Services.

I'd like to hand them over to someone fairly soon so they can get as much use out of them as possible.

Happy for any feedback :)

Thanks,
Marg

With the greatest of respect to the club, I'd rather not just give them back to them.

I don't have any contacts or know anyone who works in those sort of areas, so any suggestion I can make of an organisation is purely theoretical. As such, I'm happy to go with any of those organisations that you mentioned. The only thing I'd like to know is that if an organisation takes them, they will be used by Collingwood supporters to be able to attend games.

Thanks Marg- any of your suggestions is fine with me. Rather that than returning to the club. Cheers
