I think [quoteeddiesmith]Be interesting to see the reactions in 12 months when Cloke is a lot of things.piedys wrote:If that is the case, we'll be too busy inducting a replacement coach and game plan to worry about what the Welfare are doing...eddiesmith wrote:Be interesting to see the reactions in 12 months when Cloke is playing in a afl prelim for the Dogs and Collingwood has had yet another season where they fell well short of finals

Don't need Hine to justify this one. Dunkley was taken before Sier so we had no chance to sign him.BucksIsFutureCoach wrote:I'm struggling to understand why Dunkley wouldn't have been a much better pickup than Sier in last year's national draft. I'm starting to think that Hine needs to justify some of his selections. Kennedy won't get a game at Melbourne next year. Freeman never wanted to play at Collingwood and has no ticker. Gault has been kept too long on the list. We have no developing KPP's coming through on our list. Why does Buckley cop it all the time but not the guy in charge of list management?
Well done boys!

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Sometimes I wonder what enjoyment you guys get out of 'barracking' for Collingwood? Grow some cahoonas and get behind the team and show some enthusiasm instead of always predicting doom and gloom.think positive wrote:Yepeddiesmith wrote:Be interesting to see the reactions in 12 months when Cloke is playing in a afl prelim for the Dogs and Collingwood has had yet another season where they fell well short of finals

I go every week, I'm a legends member, so what I'm supposed to back them in no matter what? I actually think we have a great team, a team that should be top 4, we proved this by being so competitive against Hawks (robbed) Bulldogs (robbed and injured) and cats, won. But for some reason we fall apart against lesser teams, for some reason a champion CHF lost all confidence, and has now chosen to go elsewhere. I have every right to voice my opinion, voice my dissatisfaction when terrible coaching decisions see us lose games we should win. And I have every right to do so without being told I'm not a real Collingwood supporter. As for Always Predicting Doom and Gloom, bullshit, I backed bucks in til about round 6 when the fricken wheels were well and truly buckling. I've been a blind follower right til this season, I wanted so hard for that fairy tale to come true. I still do, a big part of me wants to have to say I'm sorry, I was wrong, and I'll be the first to admit it, but I just don't see it happening. When MM was on the ropes, he recruited Jolly and Ball in a genius master stroke that won us the premiership the very next season. Believe me, nothing would make me happier to be wrong. And I'll be the first to admit it. But you can stick this crap where the sun don't shine. I never play the man. Give me the same respect.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

Agreed most of the Buckley support comes from stay at home supporters who take cheap shots at anyone who dare criticise anything.think positive wrote:This posses me off no end.RudeBoy wrote:Sometimes I wonder what enjoyment you guys get out of 'barracking' for Collingwood? I mean if you are not critical of 5 years of no progress I think u have lost all credibility.
The blind faith brigade have exposed themselves.
Accordingly Collingwood's attendance figures are falling faster than the Sunday Catholic mass congregations.
We had the list to finish top-4 in 2016, but our coach is so preciously fragile it took one herald-sun story for his head to explode and the whole joint to collapse into a heap.
I'm not having a go at anyone for criticising Bucks, the gameplan, or anything else. All of that is fair game. I've got my criticisms too. For instance, I am skeptical about our apparent plan to recruit a bunch of has beens. I am critical of Buck's seeming unwillingness to embrace the importance of team motivation as part of a coach's arsenal. So, I'm certainly not a blind lollipop brigadier. However, what amazes me are fans who have already written off next season before it's begun. Sure, you're entitled to do that, but seriously I have to wonder what enjoyment you get from following a team you have already decided will be a failure next year. Each to their own. As for me, I expect us to make the 8 and be a chance of a top 4 berth. Unlike you guys I guess, I can't wait for next season to begin Go Pies!CarringbushCigar wrote:Agreed most of the Buckley support comes from stay at home supporters who take cheap shots at anyone who dare criticise anything.think positive wrote:This posses me off no end.RudeBoy wrote: Sometimes I wonder what enjoyment you guys get out of 'barracking' for Collingwood?
