Farewell #13 Taylor Adams

^ I'm guessing you can get $250 on that right now...
I'll now check...
Hmm.... I was wrong.
Only a Scrooge-like $81.
Mitchell is even worse value: $29. How is his team even going to make it there?
Oh... Jamie is $201. Surely they can offer $1001 at this stage? I don't think even Jamie's beautiful dog would take those odds.
Cox, $301, may be worth a flutter, do you think??
JdG is $101.

I think Inky is a frequently astute poster, but "Brown > Adams" was not one of his finest moments.Tannin wrote:This thread is hilarious.
One thing I like about Taylor is he seems to lift his game when we cop an injury. He really raised his game last year after Pendles got injured late in the year and he's done the same thing this year after Treloar went down.

Just so DSU. I agree on all counts. Very rare to see Inky screw the pooch. But hey - it can happen to the best of us. (Me, I'm still waiting for the Brad Dick's Brownlow Medal. Any day now. Trust me on this.)
Some players go up a gear, even two gears, when the game gets tough and the result matters. The technical term for these sorts of players is "champion". If Adams can lift for big finals the way he lifts to cover injuries to his mates, that won't be too big a word to use.

Bay Pie, i presume you were referring to the pin head when you wrote this....Bay Pie wrote:LOL.
Remember the old saying, "sometimes it's better to say nothing and have people 'think' you have NFI, then to say something and 'confirm' it".
Up there with Callum Brown will take Adams' spot in a year or 2.......crqzy stuff.
