Interesting extrapolation of what I wrote, but whatever does it for you.

Well, whether or not you meant it, I think it does accurately capture the views of a lot of Trump supporters, who are still completing their 2016 victory lap as we speak.

Getting ready for the rolling start into 2020. If you think Trump and his supporters are insufferable now wait until November

40 million jobless claims since March. If half the deaths are at Captain Coronavirus' hands for two weeks of denail, dithering and delay, how many tens of millions of job claims does he wear?

WYSIWYG indeed, just like his bankruptcies.

Trump Team Killed Rule Designed To Protect Health Workers From Pandemic Like COVID-19

So, on top of dismantling the Predict system, Team Mental Case also swept pending infectious disease regulations away as part of their vanity effort to artificially boost financial markets.

Over the last 48 hours, his strategy has been to rail against Twitter as a device to avoid talking about the pandemic. He has made an Executive Order (that, in his briefing, he more or less admitted was ultra vires and would be struck down) to control social media that want to - let’s be blunt - fact check his lies.

Not much is being said by Trump about how many of his own citizens he has killed this week - instead, there’s a lot of noise about “freedom of speech”. No-one, of course, is preventing him from lying on Twitter - but “freedom of speech” can’t possibly extend to an unhindered right to make things up, lie about other things and have no adverse comment. By all means, lie routinely in public, if that’s your thing - but expect to be called on it.

I have always thought that individual rights go hand in hand with individual responsibilities. For example once licensed, you have the right to drive a car but with it goes the responsibility of driving safely at all times.

I can never figure out why some right wingers cant figure this out

Surely lying time and time again is not the responsible thing to do as a world leader?

Just use the Zuckerberg defence and say you shouldn't be the arbiter of truth. If it works for someone whose entire business model consists of targeting information to pre-defined targets, you'll be fine :!:

Captain Coronavirus' commitment to free speech is only as wafer thin as his skin, apparently:

What was Trump’s slogan? “ Make America Great Again”

Yeah, right.

Looking like a failed state. He has (much) blood on his hands.

The Trump presidency has been "over" since he was inaugurated according to these so-called journalists.

The only way we'll know is when the 2020 election results are in.

Its a little childish to refer to Robert Reich as a “so-called journalist.”

Anyway, the Trump presidency is not over and it is quite possible that it will dribble on for another 4 years - but he’s certainly been a useless, incompetent fool who plainly isn’t fit for high (well, let’s be accurate, any) public office from the moment he was inaugurated. That won’t change.
